Moreover, we spend a vast amount of attention on sustainability and QESH, which is also important for our clients’ image building.
The Geldof fabrication area covers 60,000m2 with crane service, with the workshops accounting for 20,000m2 of that space. They are fully equipped to handle all grades of carbon and stainless steel, heat resistant and low temperature materials, special alloys, and clad and weld overlaid materials such as Incolel, Monel and Hastelloy. The preparation bays have conventional and CNC machining equipment installed and state-of-the-art machinery for flame cutting, rolling, pressing and weld preparations of plates. The large assembly bays are equipped with powerful overhead cranes, turntables and rotators and are efficiently organized in dedicated job shops. The most suitable welding techniques and equipment are applied for every weld. SAW, GMAW, FCAW, TIG, GTAW, PAW, ESW and SMAW are familiar techniques for Geldof’s skilled work force. The integrated mechanical engineering, material management, quality control and state-of-the-art surface treatment and paint shop guarantee a full in-house service to the highest standards.
