Complex and large scale engineered constructions for the containment and management of gasses, bulk fluids and/or solid substances often require a combination of very diverse technical, technological and organizational competency. Some realizations:

• The realization of flue gas treatment installations, in particular DeNOx and DeSOx, in a power plant in full operation clearly illustrates Geldof’s field of excellence. We offer full scope on each project, regardless of whether the technology is based on the handling and processing of gasses, fluids, solid materials or a combination of all of these. We develop and erect these large-scale integrated solutions containing ducts, stacks, columns, storage tanks and bulk solids storage and the associated handling equipment, civil engineering works and E&I with minimal hindrance. All at top speed and in a safe manner.
• To erect one of the most modern aluminum smelters in the world, located in a remote location, Geldof choose to build the impressive waste processing unit in five huge modules. They were constructed, tested and finished on our premises and safely shipped and mounted perfectly to specs on site. A successful ‘plug-it-in’-formula and much appreciated by the client.
• Geldof and sister company G&G International proposed an alternative solution for the shelter replacement of a blast furnace. Instead of performing all the work on site we constructed the shelter in six modules in our workshop. These turnkey giants were transported and assembled on our customer’s site with a minimal impact on their day-to-day activities.
• Proof of our innovative approach of each project and our flexibility, is the waste water treatment installation we created for a car assembly plant. Although at the time this kind of equipment was fairly new and not a part of the regular scope of Geldof, we engineered and built a durable turnkey solution for our customer in record time.
