EPC PROJECT DIRECTOR BIOMASS INSTALLATIONS
The project director EPC projects is (primairy) responsible for managing all aspects of Engineering, Procurement and Construction Projects and reports to the Management Team. The Project director starts during the tender phase of an EPC project to support the Geldof offer and assumes full responsibility from Contract award until Close out.
Key responsibilities
- To ensure the projects financial and physical performance against the contract and allocated budgets and schedule
- To ensure project quality and safety performance
- To manage and coordinate the project team and ensure the integration of all individual efforts.
- To identify and report areas of concern, risk, opportunities, value and recommend course of action
- To document and complete change orders to agreed levels
- To ensure adequate project controls
- To ensure lessons learned are systematically captured
- To identify and promote continuous team improvement
- To report regularly to the management team
You have
- Masters degree in civil engineering
- Experience: minimum 10 years in the energy industry and 5 years in Project Management
- Experience with on site projects
- Proven skills in projectmanagement and team coaching
- Strong skills in negotiation, Financial reporting and tender/contract management
- Flexible, charismatic, influencial, pragmatic, stress resistant, team oriented.
