Together with sister company G&G International nv, based in Willebroek, Geldof is a world leader in the engineering and fabrication of pressure vessels. We are the first choice of the global oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical industries, both for major principals and engineering contractors.

Geldof and G&G design and fabricate columns according to the specified code and particular client requirements. We have earned a strong reputation as a supplier of fully dressed columns that maximize quality and minimize on-site construction works. The surface finish, installation of internals, fabrication and installations of piping, ladders and platforms, insulation and E&I works are all performed in the controlled environment of our workshops.

Special tools and well-defined procedures have been implemented to guarantee the fulfillment of specific demands as they relate to the processing of special alloys and the manufacturing of heavy-walled reactors. Often these reactors are both large and heavy. We are fully equipped to handle single units up to 2,000 tons, 20m diameter and 200mm wall thickness. Accuracy is of paramount importance at every stage of the production process from engineering design to plate preparation, assembly and surface treatment. A perfect surface finish, whether weld overlay, the application of fire-coated concrete lining or polishing and painting is representative of the total quality Geldof and G&G offer. Excellent examples of our expertise and experience in this field are the fabrication of FCCU reactors and the realization of complete reactor head replacements including cyclones.

Geldof and G&G offer a wide range of engineered-to-order vessels such as storage and process drums for various applications (e.g. delayed coking) and spheres, bullets and cargo tanks for the transport and storage of gasses and liquids under high pressure.

When dimensions become too critical to allow one-piece delivery, Geldof and G&G supply precisely prefabricated plates or modules and finishes the assembly at the job site. By owning huge workshops, unique machinery and engineering capacity and controlling the supply chain from steel mill to end product, Geldof and G&G also act as a specialized subcontractor for the prefabrication of plate material.

All grades of carbon and stainless steel, heat resistant and low temperature materials, special alloys, clad and weld overlaid materials, including Inconel, Monel and Hastelloy.
